Fiber Optic Pigtails

The Fiber Optic Pigtail is utilized to support fiber optic network communication. It is used to support the connection of the fiber optic cable to the fiber optic network equipment. It comprises of fiber optic cable that is either 900um buffered or comes with a 2.0mm and 3.0mm jacket with one end terminated with fiber optic connector while the other end will be used to spliced together with the optical fiber.

Type of optical fiber supported

Both Single-mode and multimode optical fiber types are supported. For the single-mode fiber type, G.652D, G. 655 are some types of single-mode supported. As for the multimode fiber, OM1, OM2 and OM3 are some examples of the fiber type supported.

 

Type of fiber optic connector supported

The Fiber Optic Pigtail comes with different fiber optic connector types to support different fiber optic network requirement needs. FC, LC, SC and ST are some of the common fiber optic connectors used in the market.
