Armoured PE Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable FLTCP

The FLTCP is an armoured loose tube fiber optic cable. It consists of six water-blocking, jelly-filled loose tubes, with each tube capable of supporting up to 12 optical fibers. The cable construction includes a layer of water-blocking tape, corrugated steel tape, and an outer PE jacket to prevent water penetration. The corrugated steel tape also acts as armour, protecting the cable from rodent attacks and providing mechanical protection, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions.

Number of optical fibers supported

Each gel-filled tube of the FLTCP fiber optic cable can support a maximum of 12 optical fibers.  The FLTCP loose tube fiber optic cable can support a maximum number of 72 optical fibers.

Type of optical fibers supported

The FLTCP fiber optic cable can support both single-mode and multimode optical fiber types. Some of the common optical fibers types that are deployed are the single-mode G.652D and the multimode optical fiber types OM1 and OM2.
